Let there be light!

Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Fuat Oktay and Prime Minister of the TRNC Yunal Ustel held a joint press conference in Ankara, on the agenda of which was the issue of conducting a cable line that will be laid under the Mediterranean Sea and will provide direct and uninterrupted supply of electricity from Turkey to the TRNC.
This project will ensure a stable supply of electricity to the whole of Northern Cyprus, minimize periodic power outages in winter and summer, and will also be able to provide more reasonable and acceptable electricity tariffs. Would like to note that the energy produced in Turkey will come here clean, which is also very important for the environment.
