Ferry from Famagusta to Mersin.

In 2023, significant measures will be taken to expand the water communication between the TRNC and Turkey, namely, cities such as: Mersin, Iskenderun and Antalya. The first priority of these initiatives is to increase the number of tourists from the southern coast of Turkey to Northern Cyprus. In the TRNC, a state shipping company was created and a RORO vessel was purchased for its needs. It will run on the Famagusta-Mersin route. Transport Minister Arikli promised that flights would start in March.
