Cooperation with Azerbaijan in tourism

Tourism and Environment Minister Fikri Ataoğlu said that the first step was taken to revive relations with Azerbaijan, which had been frozen for 10 years.

According to the statement made by the Ministry Press Office, the first delegation from Azerbaijan is coming to the island today as a result of the relations that have started again with the initiatives of Minister Ataoğlu.

The second delegation, which will include the President and officials of the Azerbaijan Travel Agencies Association, will be on the island on August 18.

Upon the arrival of the delegation, a meeting will be held with the participation of ministry officials, Cyprus Turkish Association of Tourism and Travel Agencies (KITSAB) and airline companies, and tourism mobility between the two countries will be initiated.
