12th International Cartoon Competition.

The 12th International Cartoon Competition will be held as part of the Olive Festival of the 12th International Olive Humor Festival.

According to the Girne Municipality Turkish Cypriot Cartoonist Association, entries for the competition, which will be held on two themes Olive and Free, will be submitted to the Turkish Cypriot Cartoonist Association no later than May 31st.

Works on the theme "Olives" can participate in the competition; "Olive and time, olive and history, olive and mythology, olive and technology, olive and Cyprus, olive and life, olive and peace, olive and war, olive and health, olive and woman, olive and man, olive and child, cartoons against cutting down trees, olive oil, olive branch, olive tree, benefits of olives, olive and oil mills, etc."

In the free thematic competition, you can take part with any topic.

In addition, the works that will be sent to the competition must be original, black and white or color, in A4 or A3 format. Each participant will write their name, surname, address, phone number, e-mail address on the back of the caricature and send a short resume with a photo.

All cartoons that will be submitted to the competition will be kept in the archives of the International Cyprus Caricature Museum, which will be created by the Cypriot Turkish Cartoonists Association, and the works that the Organizing Committee deems suitable will be published in an album and exhibited as part of the 22nd Olive Festival 2023.
