7th Herb Festival in Tatlysu.

The 7th Northern Cyprus Herb Festival will be held on March 19 in Tatlysu.

About 11 types of herbs grow in large quantities in the Tatlysu region, from which traditional local dishes are prepared, and about 25 types of tea herbs.

Every year this festival is held under the slogan "Return to the origins of nature", the purpose of which is to preserve the natural heritage of the island.

At the event, you will see a huge variety of herbs that can be added when cooking, brewing decoctions, drying, and much more. The use of herbs plays an important role in the culture of Northern Cyprus and the main purpose of the festival is to inspire the inhabitants to a healthy and natural diet, given to us by nature.
