EMU in the "Best Young Universities in the World" ranking.

Northern Cyprus Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) has upgraded its rank in the "Best Young Universities in the World 2023" ranking.

The Best Young Universities 2023 ranks universities under 50 around the world based on quality of education, international prominence, research, citations, internationalization and community service.

In 2023, this list included 605 universities, and in 2022 there were 539.

Despite an increase in the number of universities listed compared to the previous year, EMU increased its position from 153rd to 101-150, ranking 1st in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Aykut Hokanyn noted that promotion in the world rankings is a well-deserved success and reflects the correctness of the steps taken. He thanked the staff of the university and also emphasized that EMU, aware of its responsibility to be one of the best universities in the world, will continue its work in the field of quality education, research and public works on an ever-increasing basis.
