Announcement of the 4th Walnut Festival in Lefke

The 4th Walnut Festival is set to take place in Lefke. As per the municipality’s statement, the festival is scheduled for Sunday, June 2, at the city bazaar.

The event, a joint effort by the municipality and the Lefke Tourism Association, is a traditional festival that will be held from 10:00 to 20:00.

The grand opening of the festival will spotlight walnut producers. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to discover a range of products from local manufacturers displayed at stalls, as well as savor tasty delights made from walnuts and other local produce.

In addition, the festival will feature a photo exhibition titled “Cyprus and Love for Lefke,” presentations from the municipality’s women’s courses, and an exhibition of recycled products from local schools.

The festival’s agenda also includes a competition for walnut products and a relaxed guided tour with Cittaslow Lefke.
