Festival of Kites in Nicosia

Nicosia welcomed the spring season with a vibrant kite festival.

The Children’s Kite Festival was orchestrated through a joint effort by the Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent, the Olive Tree Education and Solidarity Association (ZAYDER), and the Academy Arts Association (ASDER).

The festival, filled with an array of treats and delightful surprises, provided an opportunity for children and their families to rejoice in the advent of spring. They celebrated by launching kites into the sky, making it a memorable and enjoyable day out.
