State institutions of the TRNC are switching to a single work schedule.

The start of work on the introduction of a single schedule for civil servants was announced by Prime Minister Ünal Yustel.

According to the new schedule, working hours will be:

• 08:00 to 15:30 - Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays,
• From 08:00 to 12:30 and from 13:00 to 17:30 on Thursdays.

Ünal Yustel said that the government has decided to switch to a unified work schedule in public institutions after consultations with all stakeholders.

In accordance with the official statement of the Prime Minister, the new work schedule will come into force after the completion of the necessary legislative procedures.
