Young talents in robotics.

Students who were trained in robotic programming at the Kyrenia Youth Development Center (GİGEM) under the auspices of the SOS Children's Village Association took pride of place in international competitions.According to the association, 5 students who participated in training conducted by International Lego Schools certified instructor Dr. Mustafa Kemal Ambar received various degrees at the ROBOTEX Cyprus 23 competition in July.

In the competition, organized in Southern Cyprus, students competed in three categories, with 77 instructors and 663 participants, as well as 206 teams. GİGEM students took 8th place in the Linear Team competition among 23 teams, 4th place in the Sumo Wrestling competition among 28 teams, and 4th place in the Color Choice competition among 11 teams. At the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO23) held at the University of Cyprus in Southern Cyprus over the weekend, GİGEM students took second place in the category "Underwater Defense Robot for Primary School" in a competition that included 6 teams.

The students were invited to present the project at the Youth Tech Festival, which will be held in South Nicosia in November, and began preparing the project for participation in the TEKNOFEST competition, which will be held in Turkey.
