Cypriots will send a song about peace into space.

Musicians from the Greek and Turkish communities of Cyprus have released a joint track about peace that will be sent to the International Space Station. The song "Freedom from Today", performed by Greek Cypriot Marios Theodorou and Turkish Cypriot Tugçe Beşerler, was published on Spotify.

The release of the video for this song is scheduled for October.

Hellas Sat, a company operating in Cyprus that launches satellites into space, supported the initiative of young Cypriot musicians from both communities to create the song "Freedom From Today".

The song's video is planned to be sent to the International Space Station as a message of peace from Cyprus, digitally via the new HELLAS SAT-5 satellite.
