Cypriot athlete Alice Ozbai won the gold medal in Bulgaria.

At the World Rowing Championships among young people under 23, held in Bulgaria, the national athlete Alice Ozbai won a gold medal.

At the competition in Plovdiv, Alice Ozbai won the title of world champion in the lightweight category in singles with a time of 07.36.92.

In the race, Ilaria Carozza from Italy took second place, and Carissa Riley from Canada took third place.

After the victory of Alice Ozbai, the number of Turkish medals in the organization increased to three. Yesterday at the championship, two single lightweight teams, consisting of Simla Suai Alinci and Irmak Fertug, won silver, and four lightweight doubles teams, which include Ebru Akinal, Deniznur Serra Baykara, April Ipar and Eda Erkan, won bronze medals.
