Reclamation of Eshiltepe ponds.

Land reclamation work on the restoration of Eshiltepe ponds will begin in the near future.

Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dursun Oguz, Mayor of Lapta-Alsancak-Chamlybel Firat Ataser, Director of the Department of Water Resources Tarkan Cheki, Engineer of the Department Chigdem Akdogan, Head of Ilgaz Yalchin Kaya and Head of Malatya Inchezu Zehra Beidola attended the inspection of the Yesiltepe Ponds.

Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dursun Oguz noted that as part of the work on the restoration of ponds last year and this year, many ponds were restored, which were transferred to the use of the regions. Oguz noted the importance of this work in our days, when water is becoming increasingly important in the world, and stressed that the construction and cleaning of ponds and underground nutrient reservoirs make a great contribution to increasing groundwater reserves.
