The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the TRNC is fully planning to switch to online services.

Interior Minister Zia Öztürkler said that the most important achievement in the field of digital services is to open the doors of a modern online service for the citizens of the TRNC.

Ziya Ozturkler said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has begun research in the field of digitalization of services in order to improve the quality of public services and provide online services in accordance with the requirements of the modern world.

The online service network has been upgraded and expanded with the support of a large professional team from Turkey.

The online services, which will be introduced in April, will give citizens access to birth and death certificates directly from their phone or computer, without leaving their homes or places of work and without coming to the offices of ministries.

The system for obtaining an electronic identity card has also been strengthened with new software. Ozturkler: "Beyaz Kimlik and Mavi Kimlik permanent residence permits with security codes in accordance with international standards can be issued online, as well as many other important services."
