New vessel Ada 74 in TRNC.

Public Works and Transport Minister Erhan Arıklı announced that their efforts to raise the Turkish Cypriot shipping company had paid off and that a ship called Ada 74, which they had bought with the Turkish Privatization Administration, had arrived at the port of Famagusta.

In his statement, Arıklı noted that the vessel Ada 74 with a capacity of 400 passengers, 15 trucks and 25 small vehicles will bring a new breath to the country's maritime transport.

Arıklı said that the ship will run to Mersin on weekdays, it will be modernized, and that regular flights will begin with the opening ceremony on May 4.
