The western part of the Kervansaray public beach belonging to the municipality of Kyrenia, which has remained untouched for many years, will be ready for public use in connection with the opening of the summer season. After the announcement of the Mayor of Kyrenia, Murat Shenkul, that the western part of the beach will open to serve the population, as well as the beach, which is already in the use of the municipality, work began to clean it up.

The mayor of Kyrenia also added that in addition to cleaning the stones on the beach, a new entrance area on the west side, a rescue tower and a car park, the best service for the population will be organized and provided.

Saying that there will no longer be a charge at the entrance to the beach, based on the principle "beaches belong to the people", Shenkul noted that the fee for this service will be charged only to those visitors who ask for the use of sun loungers and umbrellas.
