New generation hotel in Famagusta.
An investment protocol was signed to establish a new generation hotel and rehabilitation center in Famagusta, which will directly contribute to the international reputation and development of Northern Cyprus in the field of health tourism.
The protocol signing ceremony, held at the Vuni Palace Hotel Congress Center, was attended by Prime Minister Unal Ustel, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoglu, Minister of Foreign Affairs Tahsin Ertugruloglu, Minister of Health Izlem Gürçag Altugra, President of the World Health Tourism Council, MP from the National Unity Party (UBP) Dr. Ahmet Savasan and Founding President of the World Health Tourism Council E Min Chakmak.
Noting that Romatem Health Group - the first and only network brand in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, which is an expert in its field and offers patients quality medical services at the level of international standards - through its investments in health tourism, has made a significant contribution to the Turkish economy, developing steadily for 20 years. The President of Romatem Health Group, Dr. Köksal Hologlu, said that the center, which they will bring to life in Famagusta together with the Oscar Group, will be put into operation in early 2024 using a multidisciplinary approach and high-tech robotic systems within the concept of "hotel and rehabilitation".
Explaining that the next generation hotel and rehabilitation center will offer its patients all modern treatment options, from neurological rehabilitation to sports, from hydrotherapy to ozone therapy, Dr. Köksal Hologlu said that in 2024, the center in Northern Cyprus, which will be equipped with the most advanced robotic technology in the world, on average can accommodate two thousand tourists from Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
