Pegasus Airlines unveils new pricing packages

Pegasus Airlines has implemented a new policy for carry-on luggage on its flights to Cyprus, introducing four distinct “flight packages” in this context. As a result, passengers wishing to bring carry-on luggage must opt for the “Super Eco” package, which is priced at least 300 TL higher than the “Light” package. The latter permits passengers to bring on board a bag that fits only under the seat.

This policy, effective from February 14, 2024, will be applicable to flights to Northern Cyprus and other international destinations.

In a statement, Pegasus Airlines clarified that the introduction of these new packages aims to prevent overcrowding in aircraft and to create package structures that cater to all passenger needs.

The statement further elaborated that with this new policy, all passengers will be allowed to bring on board a bag measuring 40x30x15 cm and weighing no more than 3 kilograms, which will fit under the seat. Passengers wishing to bring additional carry-on baggage can do so either individually or by selecting one of the available packages.

According to the statement, the new flight packages, which are valid for international flights and flights to Cyprus, provide four different options. Passengers who purchase the Light Package will have the flexibility to add additional hand luggage as per their requirements. Those who opt for one of the other three flight packages - Super Eco Package, Advante Package, and Comfort Flex - which include a carry-on baggage allowance, will be permitted one personal item, one piece of carry-on baggage, and 20 kg of checked baggage.
