Victory of TRNC athletes at the BUDO World Championship.

Minister of Finance Alishan Shan congratulated the national athletes representing the TRNC in international competitions on their participation in the BUDO World Championship.

According to a written statement from the Ministry, Minister of Finance Alishan Shan received the President of the Federation of Taekwondo, Judo, Karate, Aikido, Hapkido, Kung Fu, Kurash Wushu TRNC Eyup Zafer Gekbilen, captain, coach and member of the board, as well as athletes who won 5 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal in the BUDO World Championship held in Baku, Azerbaijan in May.

Noting that the TRNC Federation of Taekwondo, Judo, Karate, Aikido, Hapkido, Kung Fu, Kurash Wushu has been training young athletes for many years and has achieved various successes in international competitions, Shang congratulated the leadership, captain and coaches working in the federation under the chairmanship Eyup Zafer Gekbilena, with their dedicated work.
