The Russian Embassy in Cyprus will begin to provide consular services in the TRNC.

It became known that the Russian Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in the near future will resume work on the provision of consular services to Russian citizens in the north of the island, in Nicosia, the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

An employee of the Russian Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus said that in the very near future, work will begin on the provision of consular services in North Nicosia, which will be carried out as usual.

Russian Ambassador to Cyprus Murat Zyazikov said that this decision was made in order to provide services to Russian citizens living in Northern Cyprus, whose number, according to some sources, is about 50,000 people today.
