The project for the production and branding of olive products has been completed.

The Olive Production and Branding Project, implemented with the financial support of the European Union (EU) by the Agricultural Cooperative of Large Olive Producers, established in 2017 under the leadership of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Artisans and Artisans (KTEZO), has been completed.

According to the information provided by KTEZO, the details of the project were discussed at an event held on May 17 with the participation of Olive Koop members and stakeholders.

Project Coordinator Ersun Aytach shared all the processes of the project in his speech, supported by visual effects.

General Coordinator of KTEZO and President of EZKOOP Hurrem Tulga, President of Olive Koop Mustafa Haset and Head of the European Union Program Pablo Abrecht in their speeches noted the importance of the project from the point of view of production and the future of the country and thanked everyone who put in their work.

The project was implemented in order to increase the competitiveness of the olive sector through the introduction of modern production methods and international food safety standards.

Within the framework of this project, 34 olive harvesting machines, 1 branch chopping machine, 2 olive sizing machines, cold storage, 1 vehicle, 1 olive packing machine and 1 olive oil filling/labeling/capping machine were purchased, which became available for joint use by members of the cooperative.
