Enhancements to the Immovable Property Commission are on the horizon

President Ersin Tatar of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has declared plans to broaden the scope of the Immovable Property Commission (IPC).

Tatar hosted a delegation from the Immovable Property Commission, a body formed under the Turkish Cypriot Bar Association. In the course of the meeting, he underscored the significance of the IPC and stressed the necessity for sufficient resource allocation to ensure its efficient operation and timely handling of applications.

Tatar reminded that property issues can be addressed through various methods such as exchange, restitution, or compensation. He also brought up the potential exploration of a global exchange, an idea initially put forth by the founding President (IPC) Rauf Raif Denktash.

Furthermore, Tatar highlighted the need to bolster confidence in the institutions and organizations of the TRNC.
