Seismological stations in TRNC.

A new cooperation protocol was signed between the Kandilli Observatory of Bogazici University, the Earthquake Research Institute (KRDAE), the Ministry of Public Works and the Department of Transport Meteorology of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on March 21.

Through the seismological stations established by KRDAE in Northern Cyprus, joint earthquake observation and assessment research, technical support and on-the-job training will be carried out.

The signing ceremony took place on March 21 at the Rector's Office of the South Campus of Bogazici University, which was attended by the Rector of Bogazici University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci Inci, Director of KRDAE, Prof. Dr. Haluk Ozener, Deputy Minister of Public Works and Transport of the TRNC Enver Ozturk and Director of the Department of Meteorology Raif İlker Buran.
