German tour operators explore Northern Cyprus

In an effort to boost the visibility of Northern Cyprus, Cyprian Royal Tourism has arranged informative tours for German travel industry professionals. These tours are facilitated by Sunexpress Airlines.

On Sunday, May 5, 2024, a group of 35 German tour operators landed at Ercan International Airport in Northern Cyprus.

Over the course of these three-day promotional tours, the visitors will immerse themselves in the historical and touristic attractions, local culture, and entertainment options that the TRNC has to offer. The German travel experts will also get a chance to inspect key hotels, beaches, and other touristic features of the island firsthand.

Gultekin Yalaz, the representative of Northern Cyprus who is responsible for the organization of the trip, highlighted the significance of effective marketing strategies and robust communication networks in unlocking the tourism potential of the TRNC.

In May, Northern Cyprus will host an additional contingent of 40 tour operators. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to position the island as a sought-after cultural hotspot, particularly for the German market.
