The traditional Nicosia Marathon starts

The traditional Nicosia Marathon, organized by the Turkish Municipality of Nicosia (LTB), will take place on Sunday, October 22.

You can register for participation in the marathon from October 9 to October 22, from 08.30 to 16.00 on weekdays and from 09.00 to 13.00 on Saturdays, as well as online at www.lefkosamaratonu.com. The registration fee is 1000 TL for the 21 km race, 750 TL for the 10 km race and 100 TL for the 4 km race. Age categories for distances of 10 and 21 km are 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-55 and 60+.

The start time of the race is at 07.00 for 21 km, at 07.30 for 10 km and at 10.30 for 4 km.

The total prize fund for the marathon will be 340 thousand TL, and the reward for running 21 kilometers will be 15 thousand TL.
