Temperatures are expected to rise 3-5°C above the norm: TRNC weather forecast for June 21

The TRNC Meteorology Department forecasts that on Friday, June 21, the area will remain under the influence of a low-pressure system accompanied by hot and humid air. Cloudy skies are anticipated, with no rainfall expected.

Air temperatures today will be 3-5°C higher than usual, reaching up to 39°C. The warmest conditions are predicted for Nicosia and Ercan.

Winds will blow from the southwest at moderate speeds, and no storms are forecasted for today.

Northern Cyprus is currently under two meteorological advisories. There is an extremely high risk of wildfires, and ultraviolet radiation levels are also elevated.

It is advised to limit sun exposure to less than 15 minutes, particularly between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, unless necessary protective measures are taken.
