Turkish Cypriot tennis player Aren Baybars has been invited to the European Youth Olympic Games.

Famagusta Municipality Tennis Club athlete Aren Baybars has been invited to represent Turkey at the European Youth Olympic Games as the number one player in his age group after his results in Tennis Europe and ITF since the start of the season.

Aren, who will take part in the organisation of the European Youth Olympic Games, will be the first Turkish Cypriot to be named B National and will take part in a preparatory camp to be held in Izmir next week. He will represent Turkey at the European Youth Olympic Games (EYOF) in Slovenia from 23-29 July 2023.
