Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Youth Culture and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu took part in the 1st Istanbul Balkan Tourism Exchange Fair IBTB, which was held for the first time on September 20-22 as part of the promotion and marketing activities for foreign tourism. Speaking at the fair, Ataoglu said that the Balkan countries have a population of 60 million people and that they expect a large influx of tourists from this market thanks to the promotional activities that they will henceforth carry out in these countries.
According to information provided by the ministry, the 1st Istanbul Balkan Tourism Exchange Fair will strengthen relations between Turkey and the Balkans and at the same time allow tourism professionals from all countries in the region and neighboring countries to gather in one place.
