TRNC at the TEKNOFEST 2023 aviation, space and technology festival in Turkey.

Turkey's largest aviation, space and technology festival TEKNOFEST 2023 runs from April 27 to May 1.

Sedat Simavi Industrial Vocational School (SSEML), which will represent TRNC in the TEKNOFEST Inter-High School Efficiency Challenge Races Electric Vehicle Races category, will take to the track in Kocaeli in a vehicle they call "GUFI".

Minister of National Education Nazim Cavusoglu traveled to Istanbul to support the students and teachers of the SSEML Industrial Vocational School, monitor the competition on site and participate in TEKNOFEST 2023. Minister Cavusoglu also visited the 45th TÜYAP Construction Fair held in Istanbul before the TEKNOFEST competition. The leading TRNC companies participating in the fair are Alu Work Ahmet Şahoğluları Ltd., Gürdağ Toprak ve Madencilik Ltd., Kamacıoğlu Group of Companies, Sezer Köroğlu Ltd., Onalt Group and Velis Ltd. Cavusoglu.
