TRNC at the Istanbul-Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism Fair (Emitt).

As part of the promotion and marketing of foreign tourism, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoglu, together with the tourism sector of the country, took part in the opening of the EMITT Istanbul Tourism Fair, one of the five largest tourism fairs in the world.

According to the information provided by the ministry, the Emitt Tourism Fair, located at the TÜYAP Trade Fair Center in Istanbul, will be open to visitors until April 15.

Noting that 33.5 thousand people from 110 countries visited Emitt in 2022, it was said that a record level of foreign visitors and tourism professionals is expected this year.

Fikri Ataoglu, in his speech at the opening, said that Turkey is the largest tourism market in the TRNC and that the implementation of an advertising campaign in Turkey plays an important role for the country's tourism.
