TUFAD at the 14th Balçova International Folk Dance Festival.

The Tourism and Folklore Research Association (TUFAD) took part in the 14th Balçova International Folk Dance Festival organized by Balçova Municipality of Izmir.

The TUFAD team took part in the competition held on August 30 at the gala evening. Groups from France, Germany, Mexico, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Portugal, Croatia, Puerto Rico, Turkey and the TRNC performed at the evening, which was held in the lecture hall of the University of Economics.

As part of the competition, awards were given in the nominations "Choreography", "Best Music", "Best Authentic Women's and Men's Costume" and "Best Festival Group".
The TUFAD team took third place in the Best Choreography category.
