Hasan Baglar received 2 awards at the Oasis international photography competition in Italy.

Turkish Cypriot nature photographer Hassan Baglar received two awards at the Oasis Photo Contest Roero 2023, an international nature photography competition held for the 15th time in Italy this year.

The awards ceremony took place on July 1 at the Teatro Politeama in Bra, Italy. Hassan Baglar, who was present at the ceremony at the invitation of the organization of the competition, was awarded in two nominations and twice called to the stage.

More than 25,000 photographs from 69 countries entered the international nature photography competition, which was organized in 10 categories: Mammals, Birds, Other Animals, Landscape, Plant World, Underwater World, History, Art and Nature, Photojournalism and People.

In the Art and Nature category, Hasan Baglar took second place with his photo titled "Morning Beauty" and received the Signal Work award for his photo titled "Disco Lights" in the "Other Animals" category.
